hi went to el centro del mundo today (centre of the earth) where we did some wierd stuff playing with gravity on the equator and saw shrunken heads, graves, dead snakes etc. also met all the other volunteers. unfortunately most of us had to say goodbye this evening as we?re doing different things. went to a shopping mall this afternoon which seemed a lot smarter than the rest of quito! nearly got sandwiched between a reversing lorry and truck. i bought a mobile phone today (using my amazing spanish) so if i can get it to work i`ll email the number through. steph x
