Hi there Steph. We assume you're in transit now, heading for home. We're all thinking of you, especially as we know how much you love flying and can't wait to see you on Wednesday in Surrey where, when we last checked, we still have running hot water on demand - and no tape worm (so don't even think of bringing any little friends home with you)! We all send our love,
The Buchanans. xxxx.

Hey, steph. Felt a bit left out after seeing your message board so thought I'd add my name to the list and say hi on here too. Nice to see that sisterly love shining through in Kristy's entry! Slag eh?! I will educate her at Christmas!
Just to reiterate, in case you don't read your emails or mine didn't send. Please, please do NOT do the swing jumping!!!! I've seen the pics but I thought it was where you attach a rope to your feet and jump, it pulls taught and you swing? I've seen people do it and I've also seen them get very badly injured and I'm not talking about grazed knees or a cut finger. The words dislocation, fall, bounce, rag-doll and death are often used all in one sentence when describing what witnesses saw in some cases. Well, in your case for the location replace bounce with sink. Will speak to you again soon. Love Jonathan. x x

Morning Steph. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, darling!
We're assuming that this birthday will be unlike any other you've had before. Sounds like you're having a fantastic time - except for no hot water - it wouldn't suit me (Laura), dahling!
Are you doing anything adventurous to celebrate your 19th? We read your message board and journal entries with great interest and can't wait to hear about it all, face-to-face, when you return.
Ben, Georgie and the two of us send lots of love and big hugs to you on your special day. xxxx.

Should a bagin day out actually have been a BARGAIN day out!!??
Any-way that's not the reason why I'm writing this, I forgot to add BUMP when I left the last message...Oops!
No it's not arrived yet but when it does I'll let you know (might even call it Steph if it's a girl!)

Thank you everyone for the multiple spellings of abseiling, i apologise if i mispelt it! xxx
Martin (Uncle)
Hi Steph,
Just a little education there (mainly for the benefit of your mother and godmother): it is abseiling, a corruption of the german word ABSEILEN. Ab = down, Seil = rope; or descend by a rope, a mountaineering expression. It has certainly nothing to do with sailing!
Take care and have fun,
Martin & Tanya
Godmother Steph
Hi Steph. It's so lovely to read your journal and I'm so pleased that you are having such a wonderful time. Seeing your photo album reminded me so much of my time in Peru and the children that we visited in the surrounding orphanages and schools. Do the children have a football as I remember that this was one of the best gifts we made? If I can send you one, let me know. Enjoy every minute and be good! P.S. Unlike your mother, whose use of the English language has alot to be desired, I can promise you that it's absailing, not abseling!! xxxx
