FlorenziWe didnt want to stay at the recommended hostel which like many busabout hostels Italy, were hours out of the city. So we hiked km and caught a random bus and managed to end up in town. We finally found the place, all sweaty and tired we were told that yes we have two places left however one is located I a special room. Later we discovered it was what deemed to be the nurse room. We joined the busabout group for dinner at a steak house in Italy.. what the? and eventually resulted in an early night. Free breakfast, the best breakfast there is. And no its wasn't just bread it was eggs and coffee too. You know a traveller when they get excited over eggs. Hahah. We decided to tag onto a free walking tour and absorbed a little Florencezi history. Brought a few pressies and relaxed. The next day up early for our free breaki again, then joined another free walking tour. Saw some great sights but nothing compared to Rome. Sorry Florence. But we planned to catch up wit our friends from the Rome and have a few beverages. After our good luck with accommodation so far we were left with none. So scamed our way into the boys rented apartment. We had to hide under the bed while the reception lady came to check if the remote for the TV was working. For some reason I don't think this was the reason for her visit. We ventured out to watch the Euro 08 football game while consuming shots and eating free nibbles. The beauty of Italy is that some bar provide free snacks like bruchetta, olive dip and chips, hummm yum. After 3hrs of sleep freely in a bed, we had to drag our bags to the bus stop and continue our adventure. It was all good to begin with, as I was still drunk. Bus the long bus ride and the screeching voice of the tour guide quickly sobered me up.

Florence to Piza. The famous leaning building. Wow now I was impressed. Not only by the tower, but the number of retards including me trying to capture the image of them pushing it over. We had to do the photo. You have too!. Also for all those people who have never been there are actually other buildings surrounding the Leaning tower or pizza. Really quite beautiful temples. Who knows where I had the idea that it was a sole standing object. After our quick stop in the 40 degree sun of pizza we were off to La Spenzia.
