so today we went on the boat trip. It took us an hour to get to the first limestone rock / island which i dont know the name of. The driver handed us some snorkels and in we went. Immediately tonnes of fish swarmed us. The man was throwing in bread so they would swim by us, unfortunately the fish did'nt seem to like me as one decided to take a bite on my finger. It was so painful and i started to bleed, so i thought it best i get out before the sharks came and attacked us! Steve enjoyed himself tho.
We left that spot after 30 mins and noticed we were two tourists short! We had'nt a clue where they had gone, the last time we saw them they were swiming to the left of the island. So the driver went half way around the island to look for them, by this time everyone was really worried that they had drowned, but no; the idiots were round the other side of the rock snorkelling away and didnt even noticed we were all really worried!!!
At the next stop i decided it best i start snorkelling. I splashed away making sure the horrid yelow and black fish didntcome near me! Looking unserwater is amazing. There are so many different colour fish. We saw bright blue, Green and yellow fish. Basically all the fish in finding nemo - we saw.
Next stop was emerald cave. We had to swim 80 meters through this dark cave that smelt bad. But it was well worth it; as once through you arrive in a desserted beach (apart from the 100 or so tourists) in the middle of this lime stone island. when you look up you are surrounded by limestone about 200 feet high! Unfortunately we have no photos as our tour guide didnt have a waterproof bag or box thing to put the cameras in!
Next stop was more snorkelling and a stop at Ko Ngai. This beach is like something out of a movie! Powder white sand and clear turquoise water! Bliss! photos soon to be uploaded!
Now back at the hotel and its raining again! Were looking to go Phi Phi next!
