Squirrel on tour
San Fran the windy city.
Finally after a beautiful scenic drive up the coast we arrived to the furthest Northern point of are travels.
Who said to go with the flow when travelling?
Lesson numb 99 when travelling always look up National days!!! Don't just turn up and expect to find accommodation on Memorial weekend!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. After a couple of stressful hours and a glass a wine to carm me down we managed to check in somewhere for a couple of nights....let the exploring begin.
So, the next day we ditched the car and hired out some hot little bikes to tour around San Fran. Sams chain came off as we were powering down the hills of San Fran and she was so close to falling off. Very funny indeed! We did mange to put the chain back on though....go us!!!! Girl power.
To all you karate kid fans out there we actually ventured down one of alleys where a scene was filmed (Ross alley). Just looked like a dingy old alley to me.
So Apart from nearly being blown off a couple of times going over the golden gate bridge it was a exhilarating, productive afternoon.
In the evening we opted for a refreshing walk along peer 34 to take some ahh bless them pics of the cutie seals that come to the peer every night. Apparently they really smelt though!!! Pwwwww. I couldn't smell them coz I had the worst cold of the century. That was the only time I was thankful for not being able to breath.
