After a 9hr train ride then two hrs of hanging around on the border we finally arrived in Niagra. Nothing much to report really. Having a quiet week. Went to see the falls yesterday. Really beautiful but totally different to what I expected. I imagined a rainforest conservation type area. How wrong was I? The area surrounding the falls is just like Blackpool. A couple of meters away from this spectacular wonder of the world you have fast food joints lined up. It really spoils it. We went on a boat ride that took us right up / under the falls. Good job we were dressed like smurfs in our sexy ponchos because we would have got soaked. Apart from the falls we have had a really quiet week of just lazing about. However, I did manage to set all the fire alarms off in the hotel!!! Oooopps. I wanted to turn the hot tub on but accidentally pressed the big red button that was clearly marked press in emergency!!!! The worst thing was the poor receptionist didn't know how to turn it off. She had to ring the manager at home. Everyone in the hotel was running about saying "what's going on?". And there's me trotting about red faced in my bikini. Don't think im very popular with the staff now :) Anyway see you soon my lovelys x x x
