Welcome to America journal updates. Arrived in La safe and sound after dodgy bumpy flight! This is are 3rd day in La and gee whizz have we met some weirdos. I thought America would have its fair share of "different" individuals but no word of a lie they are everywhere. After everyone telling us not to stay in La sorry guys but we had to. Everywhere in Santa Monica was full. So we are staying in Venice Beach aka muscle beach (where baywatch was filmed!!!). We thought it was a nice area, a bit hippy ish but safe until we got advised by locals not to go out in the area at night!!! U will either get mugged by a tramp or shot by a gang!! How lovely. To add we cant where read or blue. Apparently its the two main colours of rival gangs in the area...eeekkk. Mind u im wearing a red top now so hopefully its just at night. But despite the dodgeness of the area its so cool. Having a fab time. So far we have spent 2 days mainly getting are bearings because its massive. We are not far from Santa Monica so the first day we just spent wandering around the shops...(amazing!!!). Holding back until NY. Well trying :) Yesterday we made it to Hollywood. Woooooo. Its really seedy full of dressing up shops!!! Lol. Saw the Hollywood sign from a distance but going to get a close up on the weekend. Waiting for Han who is in Hawaii to come until we do the main tourist things. But we did go to China theatre where you can see all the stars handprints and footprints and we walked along the walk of fame which goes on for miles. Mainly to get around we have been getting the bus which is really cheap and every trip has been a scream. The first I got told off by a tramp for standing on his foot. He went nuts with me infront of the whole bus and then proceeded to churp on about his foot for the rest of the journey. Then yesterday are 1st journey again a tramp came and sat by us and was acting really weird. Then he got out his fork (that you eat with!) and kept showing us it!!! Then, the next bus journey a really old lady sat next to me with a full on afro wig balanced on her head with her grey hair poking out!! Then a tranny sat next to sam and he / she was wearing a full on see through dress! Then another journey sat next to this guy who half way through the journey I noticed his shirt moving. Then the next min a little grey snake pops out.....joy!!!! As im writing these encounters im realizing u had to be there but take it from me we are still laughing about them now. Last night we went to the famous hooters bar for some food. Its was really cool. At the start we felt like perves but then loads of groups of girls came in so its all good.
