Another filled few days! I promise i'll stop bothering you with these as regularly when it all settles down into a routine but until then it's the easiest way to remember everything so you'll just have to keep reading :) The day after the glorious win against France we returned to the same pub for the Ireland Scotland game and battled away with the waitress in there who can't understand you (even when you speak Spanish) and gets your order wrong, if she brings anything at all. Ran into some Irish people watching the game there and were advised on good places to go in Buenos Aries which we plan to travel down to at some point. We have a vague plan to go down for the River Plate v Boca game (the MASSIVE sporting rivalry in Argentina) as the atmosphere is said to be amazing but we'll see if that's possible at a later date.
Felipe (the guy we live in the photo and who is studying dentistry at the Uni) took us out in the evening and since we spend a lot of time meetinf his friends from the uni course we now know considerably more Argentinian dentist that we do English ones. If we have any problems with our teeth we're golden. He had more dentist friends round the next day for lunch and Ben (slightly against his will) gave a little impromptu guitar concert for us all. Yesterday eveninig was one of the most knackering ever. We've joined a rugby team just outside the main city but they're a pretty professional outfit, 3 hour training sessions that start at 9pm 3 times a week. Starts with an hour cardio as well so we were well and truly shattered by the end of it. Also Argentinian rugby players are mostly giants from what we've seen but i think we did ok. They were all extrememly welcoming anyway and it should be an excellent place to improve Spanish and open up a whole new social circle, apparently the partys after the games are fairly mental so that should be fun as well!
