Lie in 'til 9am! Same breakfast as yesterday, but with pb instead of jam! Kids did homework, checked emails & recorded a happy birthday video for Natalie, then we packed and cleaned room. Tuk-Tuk arrived just after 12 to take us to bus station, for 5 hour journey to Phnom Penh (on a proper sized bus, for a change!) Stopped half way to buy a roadside lunch: fresh pineapple, Madelaine type cakes, and Pringles!!

On arrival, immediately swamped by a dozen Tuk Tuk blokes! We chose (or were chosen by) Lee, who took us to Smiley's Hotel. Initial price was $15, but we argued them down to $10. However, they had the last laugh, as we ended up in a room with two single beds - so a bit of a squeeze!

Restaurant downstairs: pork fried rice for the kids, chicken Cambodian curry for L , special fried rice for D (14000 Riel = 2 pounds 33p / dish), then, because we were told that there was no ice cream for dessert, the waiter suggested that J could have a packet of Cadbury's chocolate coated raisins … which ended up costing $3.50 (~£2.10) !

Then to bed - to watch Somerset's victory over Kolkata, to gain qualification to the CLT20.
