We went on one of the hostels free tours today. It was to Big Beach and Little beac on the south west of the island. There was a mini bus full of us and we stopped off at Safeways to get supplies for the day. Big beach was beautiful. A lot bigger than the beach in paia, the sand was softer and the waves were less intense! Although one wave did wipe out hannah in which she lost her bikini and got a mouth full of sandy salt water, was very funny!! We all sunbat...

Got some breakfast from the shop next to the hostel. We tried to figure out the new bus system...couldn't be bothered so we booked a taxi to take us to Paia beach. We got picked up by James, a rather crazy, talkative cab driver. We told him that we needed beach towels so he took us to a discount store on the way, stopped the meter and let us get what we needed. Had a last pancake breakfast at the Banana Bungalow and then headed for LAX airport. No probs with security this time, no interrigation! 5 hour flight went soooo quickly, and Maui looked so beautiful as we fly up to it. Mountains in the distance above the clouds. Woke up again to the amazing sunshine...about 80-90 degrees at 10am. After breakfast we managed to catch up on a bit of much needed laundry this morning. We then got a cab to the Farmers Market which we passed on our tour yesterday. It was soo nice, loads of stalls from jewllery to popcorn (mum you'd love it!!). Started off the day with our free breakfast in the Tiki Hut. The hostel is decked with palm trees all over the place which gives it a really good feel. Have been craving ceral and milk for weeks as no where I've been has had it! Finally... toast and ceral for brekkie!
