Monday 5th March: Had a bit of a random day today because there was a really bad storm last night (yes we have had rain you'll be pleased to hear) and so the weather wasn't good enough for the beach which is what we originally had planned. Sunday 4th March: We were leaving Bondi beach hostel today so left our luggage in storage for the day as we couldn't check in at our next hostel till 12 pm. It's getting quite stressful lugging our bags up flights of stairs but we've discovered a trick - stand there looking sorry for yourself and wait for a guy to walk past then begin struggling with the bag untill he carries it for you. Saturday 3rd March: Today was the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in the city centre, a massive parade and carnival (bit like Notting Hill carnival) and 100,000 people fly in to see it! We left for the city in the morning to get a good spot but were a bit too keen as found out it didn't start untill 7:45 pm!
