Met an american girl at breakfast who had been working in Sudan. She had some great stories and was staying in Luxor with her Sudanese boyfriend.

Not much happened today other than the police coming to the hostal to interrogate the guy from sudan. I was on the internet at the time and they must have been asking him questions for over an hour. All they wanted to see was his passport which his girlfriend had who was out!! The police dont really do a lot here and they give the eyptians a hard time and they seem to get asked for ID alot, in fact more than tourists.

I tried the local dish called Fuuel which is like a bean stew as the american girl told me she was vegetarian and she lived off it in sudan.

Said goodbye to the american girl and her boyfriend as they took the train to Cairo.
