Luxor is a beautiful place and im staying on the East bank sid,the West bank is across the Nile and more expensive. The hostal is quiet and has a roof top garden where breakfast is served and where i met a couple of english students backpacking who gave me some tips about hiring a bike to go to Valley of the kings etc. I managed to get a double bed and a balcony in the hostal whilst stefan got a normal twin room. When we arrived last night i didnt say much about the room as i was shattered but the owner thought i was being quiet as i wanted a better room and price!!
Had a walk around Luxor in the afternoon and got lots of hassle from taxi's, shop owners and guys who want to get me to ride in a feluca across the Nile. It doesnt matter how many times you tell them where you are going they never give up!
Found a good restaurant that served veggie food, had an augergine stew and salad and nice to have something other than meat.
Went to the Luxor museum but it was closed between 3pm and 5pm so headed back to hostal.
Stefan had already checked out of hostal as he was on a tight schedule but nice to be on my own exploring Luxor....
Went out again to use the internet around 10pm and the streets were full of people.
