We have now left the ship for the final time and have made our way to our hotel in Venice. We intend staying for a few days. Our hotel isn't the greatest, compared to the size of our cabin on the ship, but I guess that's the price you pay for being literally 20 steps from St Marks Square! What a fantastic location. We have now spent about 2 days re-acquainting ourselves with all the surprises this amazing city has to offer. You never know what's around the next corner, or canal! Apparently you can never take a bad photo in Venice, add even as a novice photographer I think this is absolutely true! Love the food, love the people, love the city! After dinner we head to St marks Square , pay our entertainment fee of 6 euros each, drink wine and listen to the orchestra for the rest of the night under the stars and in the shadows of the basilica. Heaven!
