Woke up around 10 a.m. I believe Darren's cough got worse. Headed to Maggie's house to meet up with her mom and brother. Interestingly, peacocks tend to wander around their neighborhood. Reminded me of the lost peacock that I saw at my neighborhood when I was heading to work one day. so we chatted for a bit, and headed to 鹿鼎記 for lunch. Pretty good roast duck. Since my grandma wanted me to get her some DVDs, Darren drove us down to Central Plaza to pick it up for her. On the way back, we stopped by a furniture store for a bit since Maggie's mom wanted to look at mattresses. Kinda dull, to be honest, but still bearable. Darren originally had Getty Museum and Griffith Park in mind, but since it was getting late and Darren wasn't feeling that well, the plan was thrown out the window. Slightly disappointed. After dropping them off, we went to UCLA for a walk. Very nice campus, I must say. I liked the environment quite a lot. The campus was extremely quiet when we went since it was spring break. Even the bookstore was closed. But we got to take a picture with the Bruin and had a nice chat when we, or was it only I, got tired from walking.

We went grocery shopping at downtown Ralph's to grab a couple of things for dinner tonight. The cute little smiley faces on the tiles brought a smile to my face. When we got back to the apartment, Darren cooked us shoyu chicken and spinach *yum* I'm very impressed cause I can't cook myself. All I can do is help with the dishes! We are staying at Uncle Andy and Aunt Jennifer's house from tonight on so we packed up after dinner and decided to grab some yogurt before heading down. Mmm! NY Cheesecake with fruit toppings from Little Tokyo's Yogurtland was very satisfying! Very much so. During our long ride to our new lodging, I found out that Darren likes mangoes as well! How exciting! I was just craving for mangoes a few days back when I was still at Hawaii and finally got my craving satisfied today. I was very content!

We arrived around 10 p.m. when Aunt Jennifer was busy cleaning up the mess that her cat made. Nice and cozy place. I liked the contrast of yellow paint and white blinds in the guest room. Darren, sick as he was, went to sleep early while I stayed up doing some readings after a warm shower.
