Sorry this blog is so late! But last weekend I went to London! It was a very short trip but we saw a lot! We flew in Friday night, very late. We got to our hostel at 4 in the morning and just went to bed. We were awake by 9 and we saw the whole city! We saw St. Pauls Cathedral, Platform 9 3/4 from Harry Potter, Big ben, Buckingham Palace at night, Shakespeare's Globe, the London Bridge, Millenium Bridge, Parliment, the OccupyLondon protest, phone booths, Picadilly Circus, and I'm probably forgetting some. We traveled the whole time on the London Underground which is their metro. There were 17 different lines and many of them were closed due to reconstruction for the Olympics 2012! We got it down though so it made the trip very easy. Sunday morning we went to see Green Park and Buckingham Palace during the day, also we went to the British Museum where we saw many cool things like the medals that will be awarded at the Olymics, Cleopatra's mummy with her inside! the Rosetta Stone, and many other cool things. We had an afternoon flight so we decided to get Chipotle since that was the fist one we saw in Europe and then hopped on the metro to the other side where we THOUGHT our bus was going to pick us up. When we got there we figured out that the buss was supposed to pick us up where we just were on the other side of town! We hopped in a taxi, missed our bus anyways, the two next ones were full and our tickets were expired so we took a taxi an hour and 15 minutes to the Stansted Airport which cost us 120 Pounds with is about 200 American Dollars. Luckily there was five of us to split it up. Needless to say we got home and saw a lot of the city!!
Next ones about France!
