Hey Belle.....Sorry that you couldn't be with family on Thanksgiving. Gpa and I were home that day...but we knew that we'd be going to your house the next day. We REALLY enjoyed it and are looking forward to Christmas. It won't be long :)

What a great African adventure!! It sounds very similar to some of what we saw in Egypt with the 'factories', shady characters and poverty, and I can not imagine riding a camel for that long! I only lasted about 5 minutes - haha! Hope you are taking lots of pictures!
Love you!

Great Blog, Belle! I'll share it with Gpa, of course. Tinto de Verano does soundlike something that I'd like. I wonder what kind of red wine I should try.

I'm tired just reading everything you did. Doesn't sound like you'll be slowing down anytime soon with your Mom & Dad and your Aunt & Uncle visiting. Enjoy every minute, once in a life time opportunity!!!

Hey, just read your blog about the 5 star hotel. Your Mom said there were not 5 star hotels over there. Portugal sounds fun but I would not like the dress code. I have an assignment for you: talk to your parents and find out where we are going to be on Oct. 23rd, and then find out where we can watch the Packers!!!! Can't wait to see you on the 20th!!!!

Portugal sounds fabulous! I am typing this on my iPod. Can you believe it?!!

Shannon! Your bull fighting write-up sounds so interesting! I remember studying about this in Spanish class. How cool that you get to experience these things in person. This is the first I've visited your blog; I'll definitely revisit again. Have fun!!

Belle....OMG, I can't believe the experiences you are having! Do you know how lucky you are? I'm not sure that I would like the bull fight; but having you explain it is just fine!! Thanks for the nice, long blog. Think of Tootie today as he's having surgery for skin cancer on his face. I'll keep you posted.

Shannon.....Went shopping today and i bought some brand new white new balance with some knee high dark dress socks. I also bought some khakki shorts and a white shirt. Just trying to not look like an american when i visit you, am i on the right track???

Belle....GREAT to hear your voice as always! No word from your parents; but I'm thinking that they might not have easy internet access. Tootie has therapy today and I might squeeze in a trip to Chico's :)

Well your parents are on their way to seeing you - and that means we're not far behind! Maggie keeps asking about the cute Spanish boy that you are supposed to pick out for her - any progress on that? Don't tell her I said so but feel free to take your time!
Love you!

Belle....When the Dudleys come here to visit us in a week or so,I'm going to ask Laura to help me get on FB. Then I'll be able to see your pictures. Besides, I feel a bit archaic not being on it :(
