Hello! okay so sorry i lagged hardcore on updating this it just has been a crazy two and a half weeks! so first was ibiza for 5 days, and then i came back, had class for 2 days and i had to study for my italian final on friday then saturday i left for my break for a week! okay so heres an update: IBIZA day one: anna and i arrive there on thursday, we met this girl that was also traveling alone and she asked if she could chill with us and we agreed. she seemed a bit weird so we were a bit hesitant but she knew the way around the island so we decided to stick with her so she can show us where the fun beach is and clubs are. we tried to see luciano at a day club but it was too exsoensive so we decided to people watch and stuff. this girl got so drunk after 2 shots so we were trying to find a way to ditch her. we met these guys that were going to privlege and said they were getting a table so we ditched the girl and went with them. we went to the club privlege, it was freaking weird though. there were all these trannys with masks on dancing and thier werid show and people dancing on stage naked and stuff so we decided to leave, not our vibe. day 2: so we slept all day until vicky came with her sis and rilley then napped . oh and annas friend joel from australia came too. nobody goes out until 2 am at least there and stays out till 6 so we start pregaming and getting ready at 1130/12. we went to pacha to see pete tong (ya know that essential mix guy?) day 3 had the worst hangover of my lifeeee. oh my goodness all i did was lay on the beach all day and nap ahha . the beaches are BEAUTIFUL there! the beach by our apt its a smaller one but the water is warm and so blue! mack and walter showed up later that day and that night we went to amnesia. but i went home earlier with riley because we got over it. day 4. macks bday!!!! but we went to the main beach where its like a beach party. theres so many promoters and people and crazy people and partiers and djs and music its fun! we pretty much only sleep and go to the beach until 6 then sleep and go to dinner and sleep and start drinking ahah. that night we went to space on the beach and saw 2manydjs and space armada. i didnt that night, i needed a break but it was still really fun! day 5 TIESTOOO DAAAYYYYY!! so that night we went to privlege and tiestos set so SOO AMAZINGG OH MY GAHH. the club is the largest in the world it holds 17,000 people, the stage is huge theres acrobats and crazy people doing tricks and dancers. but we could get right to the front by the stage it was AWESOME! steve aoki was there too! he sprayed champagne all over us and we got a blow up wale floatie of his! so i got back and had 2 days of schoool and then a final! ahh! then we had our first break first: athens for 1 night. um athens is sketch and scary. but the best gyros OF MY LIFFEE omg yum. the next day we went and saw all the sights which are WAY COOL. We saw zeus' temple, the akropolis, a bunch of ruins, a flea market, and went on top of this hill that looks over the entire city! it was really cool! but really windy and really slippary. our tour guide was really funny too. oh! and we got to see the parade for the changing of the guards on sunday. (thats the pictues of the guys in the funny costumes). it was cool! i have a video of it, ill post it soon. then caught a ferry to aegina, a little island that is off the coast of athens. it was so cute! our hotel was right on the beach and the town was cute and little. anna and i just drank wine and floated int he ocean all day and wandered the streeet at night and hung out and ATE SO MUCH FOOD. ohmy its so so so good there. We went on a hike along the coast, and we got to see the prettiest water! and ate greek salads, taziki, gyros, greeek pizza yum! then we went to madrid to see vicky!!! that was fun! renee was still visiting her so while vicky was at school renee showed us madrid and we saw all the sights. at the city center sol there is alwasys SO MANY people! and at night the center is even more packed with people just anging out and drinking everywhere. we saw a crystal palace, another palace, grand via (which is like times square for madrid), a castle, and some egyptian ruins that are on a hill that look over the city. it was really pretty! we spent the last weekend in milan. its so clean and prettty!!! our hostel was A PRISON! it was in the ghetto and not even close but its the only one in milan and everyone was saying how it was the worst one they have ever been to. oh well we go through it and met some cool people. we got to see the last supper for free! it was so lucky we actually got in! and we got to se the back of it i guess they only do that once a year, i was pumped we were there for that. the back of the wall has all these supports because in the 1400's the building was bombed and ruined everything but the wall that the painting was on. so it was cool to get a history lesson and see the painting. but they wouldnt let us take pictures of it :( oh yeah! it was fashion week in milan so at all the cool sites like the castle and duomo there were runways being constructed it was so cool!!! we snuck into a few of the tents to get a glimpse. we also saw the old stadium, and italian version of china town, a cool park, and an arch like in paris. we tried to see the andy warhol museum but everytime we went it was closed :( i got back on sunday night and started school on monday My core classes started, i am taking italian, science and
religion, sociology of rome, and nation and identity-making italians.
I am expecting them to all be pretty interesting, my science and
religion professor is a priest so that one is pretty intense already he tries to make the class a debate and asks really controversial questions and gets everyone to answer them and debate with each other. my other two classes are really interesting too. the other two professors are really enagaging and teach the classes a bit different than normally, and they are going to tell us about places that arent touristy but actualy really great places to go to so im excited to explore! okay so thats all for now, im leaving for munich on thursday to go to OKTOBERFEST!! im pumped ill have more pictures and updates for you then! for now, arrivaderci!
