Day 3 Camp 5 Today we took the boats along the river to visit the head hunters. The river trip was cool... It really bought out that kid in me that died years ago! The headhunters had made various things with beads and some blow pipes... From there we went on to the cave of the winds and the ladies cave... Sadly no ladies! Day 2: Mulu National Park Well we have arrived at the Mulu national park. I am well impressed we got to go on an aeroplane with propellers and land on a strip in the middle of the jungle. I would like to tell you that they had just cleared some trees and we had to buzz an elephant before we could land but it's just not true. Day 5 Back to the boats down the river to the main camp and a canopy walk today. I must remember to start taking my malaria tablets today! I have not moved out of bed so I don't know how sore I am yet! ...OW!!! Well we made it back to the boats in about a third of the time it took us to walk to camp two days earlier. It was a good pace back. First there was Dave, David, Triv and me... Then Dave and David dropped me and Triv off by about 5 mins. Took my boots...

Day 1 continued. On the flight from Kula Lumpur to Borneo (first leg) I met Dr Zazali. He told me all about the three times he has climbed Mt Kinabalu....
