Bonnies friend Nicki whose wedding we had come over to see organized us to stay at a beautiful little B&B for two nights in the small beach town of Skerries about an hour train ride out of Dublin. The bed and breakfast was absolutely beautiful, and after staying at dodgy backpackers the last couple of months we weren't accustomed to such luxury. The lady who ran it (called Siobhan!!) made us beautiful breakfasts of scrambled eggs with smoked salmon with coffee and toast it was heaven! We went for big long walks up the windy beaches and saw a local jump in for a swim (crazy Irish, it was about seven degrees!). We relaxed in our rooms and went out for a beautiful dinner with Nicki and her fiancé Eugene. They both suggested that we go off and visit the town of Galway, which was the closest town to where the wedding was, out in the country side of Connemara.
