Im now on the east coast up at surfers paradise.

I started my trip up the east coast with a very early night from sydney at 6 am...having to get reading in the dark as everyone else in my dorm was asleep. With having toget ready in the dark I left my whole bag of boxers...didnt find out until I was half way up the coast! school boy error!

The 1st stop was spot x which was the surf school. In the trip price we got a 3 hour lesson. Its amazing how you can forget how to surf without surfing for 10 months! By the end of the lesson I was standing up as normal. Spot x was a really nice place, it was just like a little village next to the beach.

We then all got on the bus and then made our way to bryon bay which is just a very cool relaxed place. The beach is stunning and there is a very cool vibe in the town. We all booked into the backpackers opposite cheeky monkeys one of the clubs in town. The night we got there we had a table booked for ox experience and cheap food and lots of free jugs of beer! Was great night!

The next day its raining all day! Ended up playing lots of cards. The day after we went for a walk up to the most eastly point in oz was a great bike ride/walk all along the coast up the the light house.

We then go the bus again on the saturday to surfers paradise which is where I am now. Me and alex booked into a backpackers hotel about a 20 mins walk out of town which isnt too bad good facilities but just lil bit far out.

Yestetrday we went to wet and wild a water park. so much some really cool rides. Wasnt that sunny a bit overcast but still quite warm.

Tomorrow we leave surfers paradise to go to brisbane. Its one of the guys birthdays on the 17th which is paddys day so should be a good one! I just need to work how long Im going to stay as the next leg after that is fraser island 4x4 driving a camping, which should be good.

My last blog mentioned my sun burn...I didnt relise how bad it was! Its only just staring to go after buying some ailo vera cream. So hopfully i cream up and get my tan on!

I know pictures havnt been put up. Its just their very big in size so takes ages to put up. I have some on the smaller camera so when i get the chance i get them up.
