An incredibly scenic 4 hour drive down from Milan, we were very excited to be in the south of France. We knew straight away we should've had more time here but we've already spent some time in the region and you can't see and do everything unfortunately!

We are staying just outside the small town of St.Paul de Vence which is very beautiful. The whole town is located on a hilltop and is just right for strolling around at dusk. So many art galleries with very unique paintings and sculptures. Such a picturesque setting.

We finally got some meaningful sun so one day was spent by the pool. We also went into Nice for a day which is fantastic. We were all set to go back to one of our favourite restaurants only to find it was closed on the one day we were there! We spent some time shopping and eating in the glorious sunshine.

Massive drive tomorrow down to La Bisbal d'Emporda on the Costa Brava in Spain which is six hours. The drive should be worth it with our 4th castle to stay in for the trip!
