We stayed in a castle at La Bisbal, and it was stunning. Castel D´Emporda, we´d highly recommend it. It was very quiet in the hills (although there was a noisy Australian family we tried our best to avoid).

We went a bit Dali mad and visited all of his most famous sites - there were 3 of them. This is where Dali lived most of his life. We couldn´t believe how varied he was as an artist and how much art he managed to produce in his lifetime.

The surrounding villages sold gorgeous ceramics and antiques. It´s such a shame we didn´t have more room in our luggage. If you´re redecorating your house, a trip here would be a great idea.

We also visited a huge waterslide park and spent the day on the waterslides. We ticked off the Kamikazi and Storm - a big bowl of water that ´drained´you out at the bottom. Good fun.

We´ve changed our original plans and we´re skipping Valencia, we decided we´d like more time in Madrid. 7.5 hour car journey ahead!
