Zvi Josef's Travels
We started off the day with a huge breakfast, after which we took a walk down the Danube and went into Gersham Palace (currently the "Four Seasons" hotel), Roosvelt Square and then reached the famous (and oh-so-beautiful) Parliament building.
Later we saw a couple of nice buildings which are actually museums (but did not get inside, since they weren't that interesting...).
We then continued to Liberty Square and to the St. Stephan Bazilika (which was amazing).
Then, we walked to the Budapest Opera house (again, lovely building), but decided not to take the way overpriced tour inside (maybe tomorrow...).
Returning to the hotel, we had a short rest, shower, lounged around a bit and took a metro to Heroes Square, which was lovely. After that we took a 1-hour walk along the lake in that area, saw Vajdahunyad Castle and the famous Széchenyi baths then returned to the hotel for an early light dinner at the lounge.
We're hoping to go out later, if the weather permits, to have some famous Gerbeaud. :)))
