After a sleepless night and a 3.5 hours flight (which seemed to have taken forever), we finally landed in Budapest and took a taxi to the hotel.
At the hotel, we (obviously) got an upgrade to a Club room with access to the Club lounge.
Our room has an amazing view from the window - Buda castleand the Danube.
The hotel itself is ideally located within a walking distance to most attractions. Awesome! :)
After a very short rest, we started our daily walk - went to the Gellert hotel, then climbed all the way up the Gellert hill to see the rock church, the victory monument, the Citadella (where we were surprised to find WIFI and had a great video chat with home).
We then continued to see the St. Gellert statue and then back to the hotel for some lounging and a nice dinner.
We went to sleep at about 1AM and were dead tired.
