Zvi Josef's Travels
Woke up to a rather rainy day in Budapest, had an incredible breakfast, and headed to the Buda part of the city.
Finished visiting the Taban area that we were meant to cover yesterday, went on to see the various parts of the Buda castle (museums, ancient walls, churches, fountains etc.).
Later we visited the St. Matyas church, which was closed, but amazing looking from outside and continued to the Fishermen's Bastion and Marry Magdalane's church.
We ended our journey at the Buda labyrinth, which is an underground set of very dark (and real!) caves, where you have to find your way around using lanterns. Kinda cool (and freezing inside).
While half of the day was rather rainy (in a nice way), the other part of the day got us a nice tan. Go figure... . :)
We returned to the hotel via the famous chain bridge, had a great time at the lounge, rested and had a complimentary dinner at the hotel's restaurant.
Tomorrow we're off to see the Parliament and its surroundings.
G'night everyone. :)
