This morning we left New York and took the train to Boston. A good trip and we bought a 2 day ticket for a trolley tour at the train station before heading to our apartment. That means for the next two days we can hop on and off the trolley bus any time between 9 and 5 plus we get a 1 hour cruise. Not bad for $40. Our last day in New York :-( First visit was to MOMA (Museum of Modern Art). Fabulous space and a really good variety of art. We spent about 2 hours there. Today we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn. We caught the subway to Manhattan and then ventured across -a glorious sunny day. This is a busy bridge - walkers and cyclists either exercising or just checking out the views like us. It only took about 25 minutes and that included stopping to take photos. Today we went on a bus tour that took us first through Harlem where we stopped at the famed Apollo Theatre. We saw massive queues of people waiting to go to church - apparently these services have become very popular, which is why we were taken to a small church in the Bronx where we joined a congregation in a Baptist church.
