After a lazy start to the day we left Marjorie's place and headed into Nova Scotia with the aim of being in Whycocomagh in time for the Celtic concert that night. We started the day by going to the Farmers Market which was great - fabulous foods and crafts. I wish I could buy stacks of things and bring them all home but my suitcase is already quite full and heavy! This morning we went for a walk around Odell Park - beautiful old trees and paths laden with autumn leaves. We then went to a cooking class where we were shown how to make leek-stuffed mushroom caps and quinoa and roasted pepper. Today was a more relaxed pace - Liz & Heather did some grocery shopping and for me it was fascinating just seeing the different products and comparing prices to Australia (massive containers of blueberries for about $7). Today we left Boothbay Harbour for Fredericton in Canada. The drive was lovely as the leaves were showing their beautiful Autumn tonings. We drove through a few lovely little places such as Belfast and Bucksport.
