It's been a while since I updated you all. I've been a little busy with work and have been getting out and about a fair bit more than when I first arrived.
The weather has been amazing! Sunshine, blossoming trees, patches of daffodils...it's fantastic. Keep it coming I say! There have also been a lot more baby animals around, as you can see! The squirrel pictured is a brown squirrel that was brought into the RSPCA. Unfortunately they are not protected like the Red squirrel and considered somewhat of a pest. However, Syril stole our hearts and was transfered to a wildlife facility in preparation for release! Sooooo cute!
I'm still loving work. I've been doing the odd double shift and some evenings, which throws me out a tad. But the people are great and I'm really enjoying the experience. Just four weeks left. I'll miss it there!
I've been out and about socialising and getting to know people. I went to an orienteering night with one of the vets recently. It was an amazing evening for it and located in a nice park, it was great exercise, and a refreshing evening. Something I wouldn't have considered doing, but, definately glad I did. I've also been around to another work mates for Pizza and DVD and out for a 25th birthday celebration. There's another few birthday dinners coming up. It's nice to be able to mingle and get to know those around me outside of work.
I've made the most of the spring/summery weather and went back into Stratford to visit Anne Hathaways cottage. Full of woods, gardens and history, it was a very pleasant day. I sat by a stream, under a willow tree to enjoy lunch in the tranquility.
Must go, I have work soon.
I'll be in touch.
xoxo
