Hi there!
Last night was our last in Thailand and I'm gutted to be leaving. I have fallen in love with this country and shall definetely be coming back here on holiday!
Okay so where to begin, it's been a great last few days.
So, Sunday Night, I ended up a little worse for wear!! Emma & I shared a botte of vodka & coke at her bungalow before meeting the others for a Barbeque!! AFter a few more cocktails, the burgers made an appearance and James decided to tell the entire group about my bananna phobia!! Cheers mate! We stocked up on more booze and munchines and all went back to Mel's and Si's place where we continued the party! Mel & I were swigging wine from the bottle (classy chicks!) & it wasn't long before I was up dancing!! I was swinging the empty coke bottle round my head and then threw it at Ed's head before passing out and having to be carried to bed by Em, James, Ed & Johnny!!
I awoke the next morning fully clothed and with a very sore head!! Breakfast consisted of a club sandwich & chips! I've never eaten chips so early in my whole life!! After a lot of stick from the group about my drunken antics & having to watch videos of me snoring & photos of the burgers] (which no doubt will end up on facebook!!) we set off on a two hour drive to Krabi.
After checking in at our hotel, which is 5 mins from the beach, we spent the rest of the day sunbathing and the guys played footie on the sand!! It was so weird being at the beach with a group of people, boys and girs. I haevn't done that since I was like 15! But it was great, we all agreed it was like being on holiday with a bunch of friends you've known for years. We all get on so well. Mcdonalds is also only 5 mins from our hotel & with me still feeling the effects of the night before & everyone else feeling well hungry we decided to pay it a visit. They do double big macs over here, well of course I had to have one along with supersizing my fat boy coke & fries@! Man, did I feel bloated after that!
In the evening we went out for dinner & aftewards the boys enjoyed a few beers on the beach whilst us girls did some shopping!
Tuesday, we were up early and went on an all day speedboat tour of the islands, including Maya bay, where the film 'the beach' was made. It was absolutely beautiful. The sea is so warm it's like getting in the bath!! The old guy in charge of the boat - Mr L, took a shining to me & so I got the best seat on the boat!!
It was extremely bumpy! Like being on a rollercoaster at some points but I really enjoyed it & had a brilliant day. Mr L was actually on Phi Phi island when the Tsunami hit, its been quite emotional actually sitting on beaches knowing so many innocent lives were lost here. There are signs everywhere showing you to evacuation points should another Tsunami arise...
Isy - I saw a boat going past which was called 'princess diVers' and for about five minutes I actually thought it said princess devers! I was like oh my god there is a boat named after me! But turns out it was actually divers! Thought you'd appreciate that! Will call you again soon chick, love you loads.x
In the evening we ate Thai food from a street vendor, I can tick that off my list
of things to do now! It's unreal getting dinner & a beer for less than a quid!!
Yesterday was a lovely day, the boys - believe it or not, have been bowling!! They get so bored of sitting on the beach, whereas us girls have bee lapping it up! We've been sunbathing, swimming, enjoying lunch on the beach & in the afternoon we had massages, manicures & pedicuers for less than a fiver!! In the evening there was a massive power cut, the most scary thing being that the power cable which broke swung down just metres from where we had been eating dinner. Some of the guys were still there & saw it happen! Well, With no lights & no air conditioning I had no choice but to go shopping & buy a load of cheap clothes! ;-)
I also had my biggest blonde moment of my whole life I think. I was putting back a bikini but as I turned round I hit into something, I turned and said sorry to the person I had bumped into only to discover it was infact MY reflection in the mirror I had apologised to - thinking it was someone else!!
Gotta go, We cross the border to Malaysia today - 8 hours in a minibus!! NICE!!
I'll be in touch soon.
Take care of yourself & each other! xXx
