Jess and I slept in late today - until 10am! We got ready and headed to the German cafe for breakfast. Upon leaving an Indian chap said 'hello' to me and after looking at my newly purchased trousers followed with 'flower power' which has in my mind cemented my status as a hippie!

We headed to City Palace - the largest palace in the Rajasthan area. Many of the original paintings and stain glass windows still exist, it was charming. The walkways linking each room however were very narrow and claustrophobic, the place was packed and very hot.

After this we took a lovely boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Once back at the hotel we decided to have a full body and face massage - it was heavenly! A real treat for our tired bodies and at a fraction of the cost in England. In my relaxed state I decided to have a beer then we were very naughty and got loads of munchies. We went over the road to US Pizza - the Indian version of Pizza Hut, with the intention of getting a take away for the room but we were too chilled to move so we ate in...in our pyjama's! No one batted an eyelid.

Back at the hotel I decided to have another beer, after all Sunday is the new Saturday. Well, actually Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are now also the new Saturday for me!
