Today we took a six hour bus journey from Agra to Jaipur. It was very hot but I was in and out of sleep so the journey itself didn't feel too long. On arriving in Jaipur there was a man asleep on the pavement - as is the norm here, next minute what I thought was a mouse but one of the Danish girls in our group said was a rat ran over his face then back down the hole it had come from. The guy did not even flinch.

Later on in the afternoon we done an orientation walk of the city. It seems to be a little more up market here compared to the other places we have been so far. We ended our walk with a curry which was delicious! It was definitely the best I have had so far. Up until today I had been a little disappointed with the food but this open street restaurant, although it looked the shabbiest place we had eaten made the most authentic yummy curry. When we left I was stopped by some young boys who asked where I was from, they then shook my hand and blew me kisses - was really sweet. We took an auto rickshaw back to the hotel and had a giggle with our tour guide singing Brown Girl in the Ring and a Hindi song.
