Got up and looked over at Bal who looked like death warmed up and it turns out she has had the s***s all night! I went downstairs and found Steve, who also looked like s*** warmed up...it turns out they all took cocaine and thought they were invincible...well obviously not!!! Steve rode the mechanical bull in the hill billy bar on sunset blvd and bashed his leg and burnt his arm when he was kicked off. He was also asked to take the cowboy challenge which meant he had to drink 32oz of beer from a tap (not sure how much that is) but it sent him west and he chucked up all over the rodeo bull and was promptly chucked out! He then came back to the hostel and went out spraying or tagging as he called it...What a moron!
This morning i went out with Elodie and we caught the bus to hollywood Blvd and walked around the stars footprints and messed about putting our feet and hands in the pavement where the stars had once stood. It turns out that Elodie had the same size feet as Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe and i fit into Donald Ducks...ha ha
We then caught the train into Downtown LA which took us on a tour (LA is so big) as we attempted to find fashion alley which is famous for its cheap clothing. It took us another hour to get their (LA is even bigger than i said before) and i swear i have never seen anything like it. There were literally millions of shops selling clothes, bags, jewelry makeup you name it. A lot of it was cheap crap or fake but the genuine stuff was mega cheap. A pair of diesel jeans, for example, were $40.00 and diesel belts were $20.00. We must have walked for miles and Elodie being a stick thin insect found lots of really nice clothes to fit her and buy. i on the other hand found various coloured tents in every colour under the sun so passed on them surprisingly. Our feet were killing us and we hadn't even covered a quarter of the shops, so decided to make our way back to Union station and on our way back we went past the jewelry district, the toy district and the court house and saw Britney Spears coming out...How exciting!
The journey back was quite traumatic but we were amused by the bus driver who sounded like he came from Mississippi - he spoke real slow and wouldn't let us off the bus until he could see the subway steps and knew we were safe. He was really nice but the people on the bus were really rude to him and although he said hi to everyone that got on the bus not one person said hi back! if you ask me they are all rude mute idiots!
We eventually made it back to the station and then had to catch another bus back to the hostel and on that bus we met a man who insisted that London was the best place in the world well that was until he heard Elodie was from France and he soon changed his mind! There was also a lady on the bus that walked up and down the aisle acting like a bird, she even sounded like a bird. She was obviously pissing everyone off because all you could hear was people shouting "hey big bird sit down" Can you imagine what kind of a life you would have if you thought you were a bird!
We finally made it back to the hostel and caught another bus down to the farmers market to get some food. We had a Mexican again and they gave us so much muck we couldn't eat it all and people wonder why Americans are fat. We spent the next few hours walking around the Grove Mall which is stunning and it has the most amazing atmosphere ever. Tonight there was a jazz band playing and the fountain danced to the music...very nice.
We also had our makeup done by his guy who took an instant shine to Elodie because she is stunning and he is going to introduce her to his partner who is a dance choreographer and i guess if its all for real that would be really good for Elodie. It was now 9pm so we went to check our email at KMart and when we came out it was raining and to make matters worse it was that fine rain that gets you piss wet through. We were both wearing sun tops and we were cold, soaked and had to wait half an hour for the bus which wasn't fun.
I can't believe it rained in LA surely it only does that in the UK and thats why i left in the first place. Cold and tired we showered and went to bed in hope that it wont be raining tomorrow!
