Hi evryone..again thanks so much for all your support..Recently I've been having more off-days and been pretty tired and lacking in sleep..but have been especially uplifted by letters, emails or messages on here..definitely keeps me going! Not loads to tell you, I'm afraid..still doing the same things with Pre-school, Junior school and Dorm work..I do feel like I'm building better relationships with the children and earning there trust more..but I think this is difficult for them because they are so used to people coming and going. The I.G group are pulling together as well..The girls have a sleepover pretty much every week which is very therapeutic! I work particularly closely to Beth, who is from Australia and am blessed to be with someone who is so easy to get along with and probably quite a natural friend to me..We watched Shawshank Redemption together yesterday..It was the first time I'd properly seen it and can now understand why people like it so much..a very clever film..Our weekend away is coming up..we're going to Mysore (great time to forget how to spell this -nevermind!) And I'm also gonna sign up fro Bronze D of E..since it's a great opportunity to do it, and I've never taken up the chance as yet! So, I'm feeling pretty busy with all the things coming up and have a lot to keep my mind occupied..one of the things I'm learning slowly is how to behave with the kids when they play up..It's never really been my area of expertise, but it's always better when they know right from wrong..particularly in Pre-school..today one of the kids hit another over the head with a pair of binoculas, whilst I was on my own with them..some things they definitely shouldn'y get away with! Usually though, they are all so incedibly sweet! I had my first experience of an Indian market last Monday, where I bought 2 pieces of material to be made into Salwars, apprently got ripped off for a packet of bagles because I can't barter and couldn't get certain scenes from Aladin out of my head! We had our first proper dose of chocolate that night, which was amazing and our first I.G Bible study which was very encouraging. I hope everyone is doing well..lots of love to all of you..Sam xxxxx
