Day 31-47
Well there's alot to write so we'll try and keep it short and sweet. Since moving in to Globetrotters we've not moved anywhere else as it's so cheap and so good. We've learned how to cook! We've had many drunken nights and played quite a few games aof ring of fire. We've met some really great people and drinking buddies but at the minute we're staying with a German guy and a German girl. We've known the guy from when we first moved in and we get on well.
We went white water rafitng on the Tully river one day which was crazy. Instead of doing the beginners version, we did the extreme intermediate version!! Scarlett was so scared!!! But it was so much fun.
We also went up to Cape Tribulation for a night. On the way there we went to a wildlife sanctuary and fed kangaroos and wollaby's. They were so cute!! We walked through the Daintree rainforest where David Atenborough said was one of the most beautiful places in the world. We also we on a river cruise there and saw crocodiles, a snake and a ferrel pig along with aload of rare birds. We also went sea kayacking which was hard work, especially as we'd been water rafting two days before. We also stopped off at Mossman Gorge which is a gorgeous river. And all that was in two days, including a good night out drinking with some people from our dorm. The spiders there were massive as we were staying in the rainforest. It was so a beautiful place where we stayed. As you walk through the resort, it leads to the beach.
So since then, Stu's got a job and Scarlett remains jobless. It's hard to get a job in Cairns as no-one wants to take on backpackers but Stu's done well. He's on 400pound a week for cleaning our hired cars and said it's a pretty easy job.\
We're hoping to move on in maybe two weeks if we just play it by ear and in that time we'll go to the great barrier reef. So we'll keep you all posted! Miss you all and love you loads, Stu and Scarlett xxxxxxxxxx
