We had the funniest trip to Ica on the local buses and taxis mainly as all the taxis we went in were very small and there were five of us with all our bags, la cinco amigos! It was very cosy. So we got the 5hour bus to ica and then All piled into a Nissan micra taxi with all our bags to get to huicachina and finally there was blue sky's and it was hottt ! Today we found lots of friends! New friends! Met some American girls last night who we've been hanging out with, we spent the day in down town Lima, not terrible amounts to see but was interesting, then we got quite lost in some non touristy area where everyone stared at us because we are whities, but luckily Amy (the American girl) spoke Spanish and chatted to one of the police men who brought us to safety. Also today we were papped by a lot of Peruvians wanting...

So we arrived! Finally after a long delayed flight from Madrid that was defo not like British airways. We eventually got to our hostel in Lima which is nice, around 10.30 Peruvian time, I think we're 6hrs behind the uk. Then we've had a wander to some old ruins and pottered around Lima a bit, saw our first Llamas, watched a bit if Peru vs Bolivia in the football and that's pretty much it so far. One more day in Lima then we're planning on heading to Cusco to star...
