Headed up to Treble Cone today ( known as TC to the locals ) . The day did not look very appealing - most fair weather skiers wouldn't have bothered ! But we headed up anyway. The car park at TC was littered with Kea - big beaked birds with green and orange wings that scour the car parks looking for bits to nibble at. $14million recently invested in the base area has produced a stylish cafe / restaurant serving good coffees !
