Its winter time - and we find ourselves on our friend's Mark boat in Auckland harbour.

First we whizz around Rangitito the extinct volcanic island before heading up the north shore past Takapuna beach.

Then back past the city under the harbour bridge being careful to dogde the bungy jumpers - crazee people !.

A bit close sailing past the navy boats. I winked at one of the sailors and they told us to move 50m away - nice !!

A float by the Westhaven marina to dream of the boats that we might have in another life ! And then back to the Viaduct - former America cups village to check out the superyachts. The Kiwi Emirates one and the Alpha Romeo all looking very smart.

It is so warm .. can't believe we will be skiing in 2 days.
