Leaving Venice beach.

We just wrapped 4 glorious days with Hannah at Venice beach. Just 1 tiny block back from the original Venice pier we really struck gold with the venice beach house, a B&B built in 1911. A canal behind us and the ocean in front of us, magic. Baked goods for guests at 3 everyday, how very civilized. My kinda place.
So everything they say is true there are some freaky peps at Venice beach, but it ain't seedy, just camden by the sea I reckon. Colorful people fried by the sea a little, inside and out. Soo much to see and do and drink and eat. An la must do for sure. We hired bikes and cycled all along the beach front, ate on the beach and then rode on to Malibu. Perfect company and a perfect day. One of us ended up with a touch more colour than the other two but its all good.
Topped a great day off with Mexican food and drink - see photos for evidence! The kinda day that holidays are all about. We sent Hannah back to blighty yesterday and promised ourselves we wouldn't leave if so long next time. Good times.
I really need a pedicure but after Hannah had one that resulted in ten toenails when she went in and nine next time I saw her I'm feeling wary. Try my luck in palm springs hey.
Arrived a few hours ago, and liking the warm desert vibe already. Our villa does drinks at five by the pool and the dogs name is Murphy. I think it's gonna work out ok.
