Doing it tough in the springs.

Settled in at our oasis in palm springs. I'm getting good at this hotel selection thing. We have a boutique hotel that opened last month all to ourselves and the place is divine. Hosted by the lovely Richard and Cornelia it's a real find. A bucket of complementary beer appears at the bar around 4 pm each day, a side of guacamole and chips follows soon after, the croissants and orange juice with champers on Sunday morning was quite nice too! Hot tub, Murphy the dog and a few hummingbirds are all part of the deal too. We have the griffins in tow now, staying up the road and after a day of getting our bearings, den has today road tripped them 2 hours out to laguna beach. Understandable a trip to the sea is a must for snow bound Canadians! I was left behind to suffer by the pool and work my way through a collection of magazine. Like I said, tough hey?
Tomorrow we hike and the i will brave the salon for a mani pedi.
