Salut,
Sarah Here. Well, Here is a little bit of an update on whats going on here in France.
So far I've been lucky enough to spend two weeks outside of the cutest town with other exchange students from ALL OVER the world, it really was amazing!
during those two weeks I met some amazing people that I can't wait to go visit after my year here is done. (and your all welcome to visit me too if you guys are reading this!)
I also got to go to one of the most amazing cities in the world, you may know it as Paris. I can now say that I've walked up (part) of the Eiffle tower, seen the Mona lisa and stood in a church thats nearly 1000 years old, Notre Dame.
I don't even believe half the stuff I've gotten to do so far, and I can't wait to go back. Oh thats right, I forgot to mention that my host family loves to travel and they plan on taking me to Paris, The Alpes, The Cote D'azur and even through Luxembourg and Belgium on our way up north.
Speaking of my host family, I'm sure you'll all be happy to know that everything is going just fine. I have a host sister that's also 16 and two really suppourtive host parents, who help me out with my french homework...oh and my Spanish homework, and science . Oh wait, math and history too. (hah, pretty much everything)Not to mention the fact that I have an Insuite with my own shower. It won't be fun having to share when I get home.
Other then that, I've started school (a little challenging, but I'm pretty sure I can do it) My school is huge! (and a block away from the best shopping street in Nancy). It's almost 4 times bigger then Seycove. It has three seperate court yards and an hour long lunch line. Ridiculous, but fun. I've met a lot of super cool people, and can't wait to meet even more!
The town I'm staying in is called Nancy, and if you Google it, you'll see loads of pictures of "Place Stanislas"...The coolest part, is that My school is two minutes away from it. Oh, and the mall.
Well, until next time!
