Had breakfast on the rooftop of our hotel which had 360 degree views of the city. We walked to the Colosseum and did a tour, which was average, the lady was very negative about the history. After taking our time walking around inside we had lunch and met up with our next tour leader who took us through the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, he was better than the previous tour leader. Our tour guide reminded us that tomorrow is Sunday and that the Vatican City would be closed to the public. We then walked to the Vatican to ensure we could visit before we left. It was a 45min-1hour walk to the Vatican. We paid some money for an auto guide and museum (waste of money for audio guide) We couldn't get into the museum for 45 mins due to mass which made it even worse! We finally were able to enter the museum which was ok. Long walk back to catch the bus back to Roma Termini. Got laundry detergent did some washing in the bath as we couldn't find a laundromat. Headed out for dinner at another place nearby called L'esqinilia Pizzeria, dinner was very good again and waiters were quite funny. Once again got the same drink on the house after we had finished dinner. (still unsure as to what it is)
