Had a really good sleep last night. There is a lot of hustle and bustle going on. One thing for sure, there is no shortage of food. Oddly, I have been really good. Appetite is not what it normally is.
Bob got the new calliper for the Motorhome and got it all fixed so now when we make the long journey home we will have front brakes. Paul and I went over to Walmart to pick up a few things including a new rug for the entrance of the Motorhome. The one we had there kept creeping and driving me nuts. Small things.
Tonite there was a girls gathering for Karli at one of the military houses. There were a few games and again, lots of food.
It was nice gathering and a good time but it ended around 9:00. Everyone was tired and there is lots left to do in prep for Saturday.
When I got back to the Motorhome it wasn't long until Jeannine arrived. She flew from Ottawa to Edmonton and she rented a car and drove the rest of the way to Cold Lake. Now we have four people staying in the Motorhome. Getting cozy in here.
We had a visit from one of the ladies helping organize everything and she filled us in on things we can do to help.
I am beginning to think that maybe my girls should just elope. They should head off to Las Vegas and get married by Elvis.
Damn, we are snuggled in bed and my stomach is growling almost louder than Bob is snoring. The first time since here that I actually feel hungry. Sigh...and I don't want go to the kitchen to get something because Paul and Jeannine are sleeping in the living room. I think I am about to start gnawing on my arm.
