Today we set off in pursuit of a sighting of another male leopard. This morning it was about the same drive time to the location. When we arrived it was around 8:30am. There was also sightings in the same area of a Rock Python. There were two trucks when we arrived, one was looking at something in a tree, and the other was watching some thorny bushes we thought was where the leopard had taken a rest, this was the truck we went for.
Apparently he had moved from somewhere else in the course of the morning. We parked next to the other truck and saw the big boy under one of the thorn bushes. On the photos that I took at least I couldn't see the head and not much of the body.
We stayed there for a while longer just waiting and taking pictures. When we finally got bored of this past time we decided to go see the same mother cheetah and her cubs that we saw the other day, Wednesday I think.
The cheetah was on the other side of the boundary between our game reserve and the national park,so Eugen decided to quickly skip across and take a few pictures (don't tell anyone).
Sam
P.S. The photo is of the cheetah looking very regal on her chosen throne of a termite mound.

Dad Echoes of the Lion King Sam
Kate That's a great look photo. A very regal pose indeed. Although I do hope the termites don't come out of their mound and bite her bottom
Granny fantastic photo Sam. I love the way the cubs play around her. I see a tail one side and head the other!
