Tanzania or Bust
This is now day two of safari, and I am finally getting used to the change in time zone.
Yesterday afternoon we jumped in landrover and saw elephants, baboons, hippos, zebras and giraffes. That was pretty cool. This morning we saw a cheetah and two cubs, staked out a leopard that we didn't ever see, and viewed a pack of wild dogs eat a gazelle. As well as this we saw more zebra, buffalo, antelope, baboons, and various kinds of gazelle. Seeing the cheetah was very cool, as we got to see it sprint to try and catch a gazelle. It failed, because the gazelle ran into a group of baboons where the cheetah didn't want to go. We have just had lunch, and I am just about to begin a pile load of home work.

Dad Great blog. You sound tired. Georgia I assume? What has happened to Sam?
B Great that the elephants were around & to see all the other animals. Cheetahs are beautiful creatures - I wonder why it wasn't keen to go into the group of baboons - were there so many of them that could have overwhelmed the cheetah? Homework Georgie? Sounds pretty serious! Look forward to the next episode.
Kate Taylor Love the photos George. The elephants look amazing. Did the baboons adopt Sam? He better have a good excuse for not adding to his blog! I hope you have had another swim today. Any thing exciting on the menu? Have lots of fun. Love mumxxxx
Mary and Barry I'm so pleased the cheetah didn't catch thee gazelle, it would have been a bit sad to see it being killed. I wonder if the animals know they are being watched. I'm sure a nice cool swim before and after homework will help it not feel so bad
