Mooloolaba

So we stayed in Mooloolaba backpackers and had a tv in our room which was lucky as it rained most of the day. We watched classics like Happy days and Rossane. I spoke to Dan and Jode and we then wondered round town.

Australian Zoooo

So again the weather was crap for the Zoo so we were pretty disapointed our first stop was the shop for a waterproof! :-( We watched videos about steve irwin on the way, there were alot of memorials for him at the Zoo, signed Shirts framed on the wall and pictures everywhere really sad. We headed to feed the elephants first of, it smothered my hand with its trunk to get to the banana, a little scary as this was probably gentle for this freindly giant but im pretty sure my curculation stoped for a moment!! The we did the croc show which was cool watching it jump up. We saw wombats, giant turtles, Koalas, kangaroos, (gem got a kiss from one) and Tasmanian devils. We watched these guys feed the tigers milk amazing aminals. We decided to pay to have our picture taken with a koala even though i felt like a drowned rat and looked pretty awful but he looks good although he smelt of weed! Really enjoyed the day despite the weather!
