18th THURS: caught bus to nha trang, said 4hrs but was 6hrs, had seat to myself and alot of leg room. journey down was amazing, looking down mountain to plateu and distant mountains. walked around with people to find hostel. staying in 24hr hotel $6 a night, cheapest could find, quite nice tho. walked around backpackers area and along beach. beach looks nice, some tidy waves now and again. in night went to a couple of bars, the red room or something, met a couple there and a norweigian guy. went to sailing club. nice place but expensive. had 2 buckets, wasted. danced on dancefloor, met a group of swedish girls and one guy. got in at 5am.
FRI: went to vinpearl island. cable car ride over -apparently longest in the world? did the waterpark- no one there. most sureal experience. like walking around a theme park all by yourlself. few people in games room but only like 50 people in waterpark. also did beach (absolutely beautiful) and aquarium. got back at 5. in night met a group of people from london - detectives all girls and 1 guy. completely wasted again. got in at 4:30.
SAT: not much to do today so hit the beach. day went quite quickle, walked around some shops in evening and had last beer at why not bar. really liked nha trang, one of best places ive been. backpackers were really friendly, good night life and great place to chill out. actually wish i stayed another night, but run out of things to do in day. but cant really stay just for nightlife. saturdays theres loads of beach parties aswell. overnight bus -stuck in back with 4 guys, no leg room, chair very uncomfortable. if i sleep an hour i'll be happy. should have stayed another day.
