SUN: the next night bus will be met by fear!! why dont they use beds than chairs if the damn things wont move much past horizontaland how many 4ft backpackers do they have travelling on their buses. anyway it was an experience. i was hoping to be stuck next to 3 swedish girls, the odds were quite high seeing theres loads in town. 3 butch english guys will have to suffice. got in hoi an totally unprepared. started walking out of town, not the best feeling at 6am with a 20kg backpack on. guy was kind enough to point me in the right direction. accom is expensive here. min is $8 apart from dorm, which i was told by aussie dude it got broken into the other day. so i got something for $7. a storage hut ontop of this hotel roof. it has a bed, a toilet and all the families storage. the shower and sink are 5 floors down. but at leasst it wont get broken into. nhat huy hoang hotel. seen all the sights within 2hrs. supposed have bought a ticket for sights but managed to see 3 of the 5 for free. so didnt want to pay 90k for just 2. but stuck my head in and got a snap. you cant come to hoi an and not buy anything. it seems like the only thing you can do. so got a t shirt and a hat. haggled quite well, from 80k to 45k. about $2. tried skyping home, but no go and blog wont load. so chilling for a couple of hours, read, packeded and off into town to see if theres any nightlife. had food on island. then headed to the before and now pub. met 2 dutch guys. ok night, just drunk all night.
