A interrupted nights sleep and being sick so much yesterday, had left me feeling drained today. I started the ride feeling like I had nothing left in my tank.
It wasnt long before I was crying, because it was so disappointed to feel so bad. But I can be very stubborn, and I pushed on. I have now mastered the art of vomiting whilst riding, so it doesn't interrupt my pace!! I struggled on and i was rewarded with a fantastic experience. We stopped at the top of the Rift Valley, looking down at the valley and the road we needed to take. I was one of the first to start, and I made my way down, refusing to use the brakes except when I took a picture. I had a huge grin on my face for the whole decent.
We came to another huge hill and part way up it I was sick again and very shaky. So the doctor made sure I was put on the bus for the hill. It's been a lot flatter today, but I'm just exhausted. The last stop of the day was a welcome sight. Even managed to keep lunch down at last.
Then it was onto the bus and we're all being taken to Baringo.
