A rough night and maximum dosage of Imodium, and I still wasn't any better. The doctor has given me some strong antibiotics to stop it, but so far they don't seem to be working. I've had new experiences today of projectile evacuation from both ends, in bushes! I can't even keep any fluid down. I arrived at one of the water stops, and needed to find a bush. I took a long walk to ensure that I was a far away from everyone at the stop. I found the perfect set of bushes, secluded on this deserted road and I could only see everyone at the water stop, when I stood up and peeked over the top of the bushes. So with my choice spot selected, I started to be very ill and thought that things couldn't get any worse. It's at that point that I looked up and saw a local man pushing his bike along the road! So when you think things are bad, rest assured that it can ALWAYS be worse!
I'm gutted that it's affected today's riding but tomorrow's the last day and I'm going to ride it no matter what. Got to the Golf hotel in Kakamega tonight and we have another full on storm in place. At least it's cooling down the air, but that means the power is about to go out, so I shall post this quick!
